Full Review of the KitchenAid Artisan Cranberry
The KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer Cranberry is a design icon from the States which comes in some other great colours the cranberry is my personal favourite and really makes a statement in any kitchen. Its look has not changed very much since the first one was made in 1937, but it has improved in many subtle ways that make the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer Cranberry a must for the serious cook.
What does the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer Cranberry do?
Anything that needs mixing, from dough to egg whites is at home in the huge bowl of the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer Cranberry. At just under 5 litres capacity it is not the largest on the market but it is more than adequate for a huge batch bake and to my mind it makes a better job of kneading dough than any bread maker. The KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer Cranberry is not designed to blend in, so I have made a feature of mine and it stands very proudly on the work surface and is admired by everyone.
Even the staunchest non-cook can find something to like in the design features, from the sliding speed control to the classic lift-back head. One thing that I really love about the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer Cranberry is the handles on the bowl. I know that may sound a bit of a minor point to enthuse about but anyone who has tried to wrestle a large stainless steel bowl off a mixer when their hands are all buttery will know just what I mean!
Its a bit big!
That is a plus as far as I can see. The KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer Cranberry is solid and doesnt wander around the work top as it mixes. A friend of mine who bought a cheap (light) mixer turned round one day just in time to see it fling itself of the work top it was only the power cord that stopped it hitting the floor! You would never get that problem with the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer Cranberry, which weighs a nice chunky 24lbs and isnt going anywhere you dont want it to.
The designers at KitchenAid have made a virtue of the size by making it in bright colours which are part of a kitchens decor. There is now a large range of other equipment in the range so if you want you could have a whole set of everything you need in red or pink, black and the rest. The KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer Cranberry is often the first bit of kit you buy in the range, but it probably wont be the last.
Who would use the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer Cranberry?
The KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer Cranberry is a very user-friendly machine and so I would say that, though not the cheapest on the market it is nevertheless a good machine as your first Stand Mixer Cranberry. The speed controls are simple to use and you will soon get to know what speed you need for what. Although the bowl of the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer Cranberry is large, it is not just for large families; it copes very well with small amounts, because the beaters reach very well to the sides and bottom. The best price we could find it for is £399.99 from Amazon.co.uk. Open the Amazon.co.uk Online Store here to see this deal.

This mixer is one of the best. My friends suggested that I purchase a KitchenAid Artisan and it has exceeded my expectations. This is a great addition to any kitchen and can do it all. The best part is that this machine was made in the U.S. and is high quality. I won’t have to purchase another one in five years.
If your mixer is leaving dry ingredients in the bottom of the bowl you need to adjust it. The instruction book tells you that there is an adjustment screw to raise and lower the mixing assembly. I lowered mine and now it works perfectly. This machine is an excellent buy for the money.
